At 9 inches high, it provides a practical balance of comfort and support with its low coil count construction—making it an excellent entry-level option for dependable sleep at an accessible price. Designed to be flippable, the Cooper extends its life with use on both sides.

Every material used in a Charleston Mattress® is sourced from American companies with long-standing reputations for quality and innovation.

Coils are made by Leggett & Platt in St. Louis, Missouri, using up to 95% recycled steel. Each year, nearly one million tons of scrap steel are repurposed into new mattress coils.

Renew™ Foam is produced by Carpenter Company in Richmond, Virginia, using Natural Foam Technology™. This bio-based process reduces environmental impact while maintaining the consistent performance our customers expect.

HARVEST® Foam is manufactured by Future Foam, with facilities in High Point, North Carolina, and Bluffs, Iowa. It blends natural soy-based oils with traditional polyols, supporting farmers and reducing reliance on petroleum-based materials.

Natural Latex is processed by Mountain Top Foam in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. Their continuous-pour method keeps latex in constant motion during production, ensuring quality and preventing settling. Naturally resistant to mold and microbes, latex is also biodegradable.

Quilted Covers are crafted by Culp in High Point, North Carolina. For more than four decades, they have been leaders in upholstery fabrics. All covers meet the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® for safety and quality.

Caring for Your Mattress

To protect your investment and extend the life of your mattress, rotate it regularly to encourage even wear and always use a proper foundation or frame with center support for queen and king sizes. We recommend using a breathable mattress protector to guard against spills, stains, and allergens. For cleaning, avoid harsh chemicals; instead, spot clean with mild soap and water when needed.

Charleston Mattress offers delivery, in-home set-up, and haul-away across Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester Counties (SC). We’ve been doing this in the Lowcountry for over a century, and we handle every step so you don’t have to.

Friendly, experienced delivery. Our local team—led by Olin, with over 15 years of experience—has completed thousands of in-home deliveries. We place your mattress in the room of your choice, assemble as needed, and make sure you’re comfortable with your purchase before we go.

Built to order, delivered fast. Because we build when you buy, most standard sizes (Twin, Full/Double, Queen, King) are delivered within 3–4 business days. Next-business-day delivery may be available for a reasonable rush fee. Special orders and custom sizes can take up to 6 weeks.

Responsible haul-away & recycling. We partner with BedShred Mattress Recycling to dismantle and recycle old mattresses—foam becomes carpet pad, steel is recycled, and materials are diverted from landfills. If we care this much about your old mattress, imagine the care that goes into your new one.

Local pricing. Delivery and set-up in Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester Counties is $75. BedShred recycling/haul-away is $20 per piece (a negotiated discount for our customers). Store pickup is free; for liability reasons, we’re unable to load or secure items to your vehicle, and we do not provide ropes or straps.

We often travel throughout the Carolinas and Georgia and can quote delivery on one of our trucks. We also ship nationwide; expect freight quotes typically $500–$2,000 depending on destination and service level. Share your ZIP and we’ll price boxing and shipping.

If you’ve visited us, purchased your mattress, and still find you’re not sleeping comfortably within the first 14 nights at home, we will accept a return under the following guidelines:

Local returns (Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley Counties, SC).

A $175 pick-up/return fee applies.

The mattress must be in like-new condition: free of stains, tears, or soiling.

Once received, we will refund the original purchase price.
